Sommerakademie 2022
Vom 15.08.22 – 19.08.22 findet wieder eine Philosophische Sommerakademie statt!
Diese wird von der Fachschaft organisiert und alle (Philosophie-)Studierenden der LMU können daran teilnehmen.
Wir wollen euch durch einen intensiven, einwöchigen Kurs in einer kleinen Gruppe Einblicke in philosophische Themengebiete, die sonst an der LMU weniger oder nicht abgedeckt werden, anbieten. Dieses Jahr zu folgenden Themen (genaue Kursbeschreibungen im Link):
- Anja Berninger (Georg-Augusten-Universität Göttingen): Emotion und Empathie
- Liam Kofi Bright (London School of Economics: The Role of Ethical and Political Values in Scientific Research
- Wesley Wrigley (Oxford): Incompleteness
- Markus Haselbeck (KU Leuven): Geschichtsschreibung als Philosophie: Eine Einführung in die politische Philosophie der konfuzianischen Gongyang-Schule
Die diesjährige Sommerakademie wird auf der Burg Rothenfels (www.burg-rothenfels.de) stattfinden. Die gemeinsame Anreise von München aus dorthin mit Bahn und Bus, sowie die Unterkunft und Verpflegung in der Jugendherberge der Burg sind für alle Teilnehmenden kostenlos, nur eine Kaution von 50 Euro fällt für euch an, die im Vorherein zu zahlen ist.
Ihr könnt euch ab jetzt bis Montag, 08.08.22 anmelden.
Beachtet bitte, dass diese Anmeldung für bestimmte Kurse noch nicht verbindlich ist, falls an manchen Kursen ein besonders großes Interesse besteht – ihr könnt aber eine Zweitwahl angeben, falls ihr euch für mehr als einen der Kurse interessiert oder einfach super gerne mitfahren wollt. Wir geben euch rechtzeitig bescheid, ob ihr mitfahren könnt.

Philosophical Summer School 2022
Join our Philosophical Summer School, taking place 15.08.22 - 19.08.22!
The Summer School is organised by the student council, and all (philosophy) students at the LMU are invited to attend.
The courses offer you insights into philosophical topics that are otherwise less or not covered at the LMU. The courses consist of intensive, one-week reading and discussions in a small group. This year we offer courses on the following topics (detailed course descriptions in the link):

This year's Summer School will take place at Rothenfels Castle (https://www.burg-rothenfels.de). The journey from Munich to Rothenfels by train and bus, as well as accommodation and meals in the castle's youth hostel are free of charge for all participants, except for a deposit of 50 euros, which has to be paid in advance.
You can register until Monday, 08.08.22
Please note that this registration is not yet binding for certain courses, in case there is a lot of interest in some of them - but you can indicate a second choice if you are interested in more than one of the courses or if you just really want to come along. You will then receive an email regarding the status of your application.
